When we arrived at this condo for a two week stay this August my wife and I were very pleased with what we first saw. There was ample space for the 3 of us who stayed here. The accomodations were beautifully equipped and its location was very peaceful. We would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely location to others and look forward to a return visit.

Our stay at Ekolu Village was first rate. The condo was beautiful and perfectly sized for two to four people. It offered a cool place to relax during the heat of the day when we didn't feel like sitting on the beach. The kitchen was well equipped for anything we wanted to make. Many thanks to Phil and Shirlene for all of their efforts in making our stay in Maui the best it could be!

Thanks for the ultra-amazing stay we had at your gorgeous condo! We loved every minute of it and the whole family gasped and had our mouths wide open as soon as we opened the front door. We felt right at home and being our first time in a condo during vacation, it is almost impossible to stay in a hotel ever again! Especially in a beautiful place like Maui! Everything we needed was at our fingertips and the sand toys, noodles & boogie board were a hit with the kids. The location was in a perfect spot just minutes away from Kihei and the beaches in Wailea/Makena were the best in the island. The ground are fully adorned with tropical flowers and are well manicured. The pool was so conveniently located steps from the lanai and it was never crowded. The kids miss feeding the birds. They were so eager to wake up early and do it every morning! Thank you for the wonderful aloha welcome w/ the special treats you left for us. Our 8th Anniversary will be forever cherished and your condo made it the best vacation ever!!!! Mahalo!

You have created a gorgeous decorator condo that includes all the amenities anyone would desire. Your attention to detail is incredible. You've provided for the perfect vacation get away. The location in Wailea is ideal - our favorite on Maui. Breakfast on the lanai was our favorite - we still miss starting our mornings watching the birds. Couldn't have been better! A must for our next vacation! Thanks for a fabulous week.

Wow, this condo & loc were perfect! Very thoughtful, hospitable owners, absolutely beautiful decor & every amenity. Great bed, washer & dryer, 2 awesome baths, a/c, very nice blinds for privacy & temp control, ceiling fans, nice tv/stereo system, extras: beach towels, toys & chairs, super stocked kitchen, nice patio, grill w/table & chairs for entertainment, walkout to private pool area, nearly on golf course, very close proximity to fab. beaches & lux. resorts. Awesome! Quiet upscale area - very relaxing. We'll be back again. Thanks Phil & Shirlene.

This was a very special vacation for my family enhanced by the comfort and beauty of Shirlene and Phil's condo. The layout is wonderful and we especially appreciated the well stocked pantry as we all like to cook. Just having the basics on hand (spices, condiments, paper goods, etc) was so nice.

We loved how immaculate the condo and the entire facility was, and also how quiet. We were a family of 4, and I have to say that although this is a one bedroom unit, we were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone who wants peace, quiet, comfort, and beauty. After a day of exploring, touring, surfing, and beaching, it was so nice to come back to this special space and relax and reflect on the day's adventure out on the lanai.

This is a beautifully appointed private corner unit with many amenities. Very, very comfortable and everything provided for a home away from home. Many thoughtful touches by owners - welcoming flowers and seed for our daily wake up call from expectant local birds.

This is a lovely condo with just about all the amenities you could ask for. The location is quiet and easily accessible to the beaches on the south side of the island. The pool is just steps off the lanai which features a view of the ocean through a few palm trees - great for sunsets and lightning shows. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and utensils, and has all modern amenities. The bed is very comfortable - nice balance between soft and firm. The layout is ideal for one person or a couple and the second bath is a nice feature for two people. For folks who aren't interested in the larger resorts and who enjoy doing their own cooking, this place is ideal. It was nice to come to Maui (for the first time) and immediately feel comfortable in my accommodations. An added benefit is the owners who live locally and are wonderful people to deal with.

What a wonderful place to stay! Both of us have been to Hawaii and specifically Maui several times before. This condo is decorated fabulously and comes with boogie boards, beach towels, and loads of informational items. I had just recently purchased a new camera and the locals (birds) just off the lanai made for great practice shots. The location of this property is superb. I don't normally post information on the web but this place was worth commenting on as well as worth the price to stay at.

It was our first trip to Maui and we will definately be back. Your Condo was beautiful and so comfortable... You guys thought of everything!
We enjoyed feeding the birds every morning and watching them eat while we enjoyed our coffee on the lanai. The pool was wonderful and just a short walk outside the back door. And meeting you both was just a huge bonus. Ken and I so enjoyed spending some time with you guys. Thanks for your hospitality. Can't wait to come and see you again very soon.

We spent 10 days as our honeymoon in Maui and having not been to Maui before were a little unsure where to stay on the island. Having travelled all over the island, this is THE place to be. We were fortunate enough to find this condo on the internet after looking at what seemed endless condo's stuck in the 70's. I cannot say enough great things about Shirlene and Phil's condo. These people are just great to deal with and have gone to great lenghts to ensure everything you need is in the condo. The decor is very tasteful and modern and Shirlene has done a fabulous job decorating a very comfortable home away from home. Parking is right out the front door, the Waliea beach is mabye a four minute drive and the pool is located 50 feet off the back deck where you can see great sunsets and gentle waves on the ocean. We spent several evening's BBQ'ing Ahi steaks and drinking cold Heineken while watching the sun set. This place is fabulous and you will not be dissapointed. Thanks Shirlene and Phil, we'll see you soon!

We had the best time in Wailea. The Condo was absolutely beautiful and we felt so at home. Other than the wonderful scenery and the beautiful chirping birds outside our window every morning it was just like home. Our Son now calls it his vacation home. :-) so it looks like we will be coming back! Soon I hope! Shirlene and Phil were very helpful, and our vacation at this condo was nothing less than perfect.

Cool ocean breezes, warm blue tranquil waters and the scent of Plumeria and pineapple waft in the air all over beautiful Maui.
u r 1/8 mi from the beach its pretty,prisitne, and can accomodate almost everyone.I have two hip replacements and I was able to ambulate to the beach and on the sand.There was even a pathway for wheelchairs right to the sand.

We enjoyed feeding and watching the little island birds that came up to the lanai right out from the sliding glass door every morning with our fresh pineapple and warm buttery muffins. We enjoyed the washer and dryer feature right there on the premises- It was great and extremely convenient.Maid service were available per the owners. Internet access was available in the master bedroom and was great-high speed and worked well.We utilized our laptop.We always felt at home- The condo's swimming pool is impecably maintained.The housing was a well appointed 1 bdrm with a pull out sofa so all of us had comfy areas.The kitchen was AEK and there was TV and video possibilities but frankly,we found so much to do that after 3 days we found more adventures and picturesque scenery to discover,so most of our rest time was sleep time because we had so much to do.

The condo in Wailea made it affordable,easy ,conveinient and fun.There was a BBQ and we grilled many favorites from home.And dont forget that fresh pineapple- DAILY and we had that every single am-(and I had it every time we came back to the quarters)-It really was so lucious,so mouth watering- I can smell and taste the sweetness at this very moment- We observed a FEW Killer Whales breeching(apparently a rare event)and heard their calls while we were even at the beach and under the water!.Skin diving was spectacular as well as the turtles we saw on our excursion for a day at Molikini. -We saw the most spectacular lightning from the comfort of our condo one night, 11:45pm- It was beautiful,eerie,spectacular,warm and neat-all at the same time.Next day was absolutely SPECTACULAR -perfect day weather-wise- 81degrees ,very little wind and of all places to be cloud free, there is a volcano that is always in a cloud on Maui-its beautiful and spectacular and wet at the top.This particular day- the storm had come the previous night and blew out the clouds- It really was amazing! We went horse back riding and observed some beautiful vistas and took the Old Pineapple Express for a historical look at Lahaina. We only stayed for a week but We simply MUST return.

I really enjoyed my stay in this Maui condo. There was all new amenities, and it was very comfortable. I bbq'd out on the patio that overlooks the ocean and let me tell you it doens't get much better then that. Also, it was nice having a kitchen and my own space as opposed to staying in a hotel where I can never seem to get as much rest, relaxation and recuperation. I strongly give this condo two thumbs up and would recomend it to my own mother :)

A more beautiful place in paradise I have never seen. I have been to Maui 8 or 9 times and have never stayed in a more hospitable place with such nice owners. The view is spectacular and the interior of the condo equally beautiful. Everything we needed was available in the condo and the restaurants nearby were terrific. We will be coming back before the year is over. I rate this an 11 on a scale of 10.

The condo was spotless upon our arrival and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is wonderful, the beds are very comfortable and it was a pleasure to do laundry daily with the washer/dryer so conveniently located. We made sure our children were respectful of the decor and upon leaving, tried to leave it as we found it. We were happy to find 2 adult beach chairs, a cooler and umbrella for our use. We used Akamai Mother's Rentals to rent 2 kids beach chairs and toys, crib and hi chiar. They even bought some cereal, coffee, milk and juice which we found in the condo upon our arrival - great convenience! The view was incrediblea and proximity to everything cannot be beat. The neighbors were friendly and enjoyed our children. On a scale of 1-10, we give our holiday on Maui a 9 , because nothing is perfect, but this came pretty close! ALOHA! MAHALO!

The condo was magnificent! They have everything you need and lots more. Very clean unit, modern kitchen and, bathrooms and the golf course/ocean view was spectacular. My family had a great time.
